🫣 I hold up my hands: This is a long one.
How long it takes:
35 minutes to watch the video.
An extra 30 minutes to pause, ponder, add to your board and notice connections.
🍏 It’s also a juicy one.
Juicy ones are where really good stuff happens.
And you come out with something really tangible and helpful.
So give yourself some time to really get into it. It’s rich, revealing, and often surprisingly grounding.
🫶🏻 I love this step in the framework and I get excited about it.
In 60 minutes, you’ll have something down on paper, and there’ll be some really great insights in there.
It’s also perfect for putting down and picking up again.
💡Welcome to 60 minutes that will give you a map of who you are.
The output of this is a map that makes sense to you and becomes a tool you can use to tell stories about yourself and for so much more.
Ready? Here’s what you’ll do, and how to approach it. Have a brief skim before you hit play or while you’re listening to my intro.
What You’ll Do.
In the video I show you a live example - my own responses - in the board for each of the course categories. You can see the kinds of things I capture and have a go yourself:
Background and interests.
Values and beliefs.
Passions, dreams, and aspirations.
Skills and achievements.
After each category there’s an opportunity to pause with the prompts and sources and take some time to add to your board.
Then, I share my first noticings of my own materials, seeing them all in one place for the first time. And I show you how I mapped the connections between the different pieces. And there’s an opportunity to pause and have a go at your own map too.
So:
📝 Make sure you’ve got your notebook handy, and whatever you're using to capture your storyboard work:
The Miro board template I’ve made for you.
The PDF download from the author’s website.
Paper, sticky notes, or your wall!
🎥 Watch the video to follow along.
Watch along, see what I put down. You might think of things as I go. Then pause the video at the end of each category when I share the prompts and sources.
